Welcome To Ambercroft Bed & Breakfast In Stratford, ONtario

In the heart of Stratford, Ontario and Shakespeare Country, our B&B is just one block away from the downtown shops, restaurants and services, as well as the Avon and Studio Theatres. With plenty of off-street parking, you can leave your car and enjoy an easy walk to the Festival and Tom Patterson Theatres.

Our guests will enjoy a delicious full breakfast served each morning. We encourage everyone to make themselves at home, relax and enjoy each other’s company in one of our 4 common areas. The guest kitchenette is a great spot to enjoy some coffee and tea available at all times, as well as bring your own meals to have anytime in one of the large common areas.

The house was built in 1880 in a Gothic Revival Architectural style by John Way, owner of John Way’s Boot Shop.  In 2007 the house received heritage designation under the Ontario Heritage Act.
