Check-in and Check-out

Check-in: 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Alternate check-in times available upon request
Check-out: 10:30 a.m.

Miscellaneous

  • Private off-street parking
  • We apologize, we are not equipped for pets or children under 12.
  • Ambercroft is a smoke-free house, however guests may smoke outside in the smoking garden.

Reservations

A deposit of $80.00 Canadian per room per night is required to confirm your reservation.

Payments

Payment may be made by VISA, Mastercard, American Express, cheques (made out to Ambercroft Bed and Breakfast) or cash. Applicable taxes will be added to the room rates.

Cancellation

Should you need to cancel your reservation, your deposit will be refunded less 50% provided the cancellation is received up to twenty one (21) days prior to the check-in date. Should you need to cancel you reservation closer to the date reserved, your deposit will be credited to a future visit.

Welcome To Ambercroft Bed & Breakfast In Stratford, ONtario

In the heart of Stratford, Ontario and Shakespeare Country, our B&B is just one block away from the downtown shops, restaurants and services, as well as the Avon and Studio Theatres. With plenty of off-street parking, you can leave your car and enjoy an easy walk to the Festival and Tom Patterson Theatres.

Our guests will enjoy a delicious full breakfast served each morning. We encourage everyone to make themselves at home, relax and enjoy each other’s company in one of our 4 common areas. We have added a kitchenette where you will find hot & cold beverages and in the afternoon ~ Julie’s homemade cookies.

The house was built in 1880 in a Gothic Revival Architectural style by John Way, owner of John Way’s Boot Shop.  In 2007 the house received heritage designation under the Ontario Heritage Act.
